This project will give us an inside look at how one of the largest terrestrial mammals in the new world tropics effects diversity. When we understand the interactions this animal has on the rain forest we can better understand how to conserve the forest and the tapir. The funding needed below for general expenses adds up quickly and day to day cost are the hardest funding to secure. Your help with this project gets us closer to understanding the best way to conserve the rain forest.
